
TRANSPORT AS A DRIVING FORCE OF SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
On 13, 14 and 15 June, 2018, the seventh edition of the International Transport Congress took place. Under the slogan “Transport as a driving force of socio-economic development: protection of the weak contracting party and advances in the liberalisation of the sector”, the event welcomed prominent Spanish and international specialists in the field. It was directed by professors Mª Victoria Petit Lavall (professor of Commercial Law at the Universitat Jaume I), Mª Jesús Guerrero Lebrón (professor of Commercial Law at the Pablo de Olavide University) and José Manuel Martín Osante (senior lecturer in Commercial Law at the University of the Basque Country). The scientific committee was led by Professor Leopoldo Tullio (professor of Navigation Law at Sapienza, Università di Roma). Altogether, including speakers, communicators and attendees in general, more than a hundred people registered as participants in the congress.
