Under the slogan &#8220;Transport as a driving force of socio-economic development: protection of the weak contracting party and advances in the liberalisation of the sector&#8221;, the event welcomed prominent Spanish and international specialists in the field. It was directed by professors M\u00aa Victoria Petit Lavall (professor of Commercial Law at the Universitat Jaume I), M\u00aa Jes\u00fas Guerrero Lebr\u00f3n (professor of Commercial Law at the Pablo de Olavide University) and Jos\u00e9 Manuel Mart\u00edn Osante (senior lecturer in Commercial Law at the University of the Basque Country). The scientific committee was led by Professor Leopoldo Tullio (professor of Navigation Law at Sapienza, Universit\u00e0 di Roma).
